Newton Peripherals LLC designs, develops and manufactures the MoGo family of products, including the award-winning MoGo Mouse, a wireless, Bluetooth-enabled, rechargeable mouse specifically designed for mobile computing users. The organization officially unveiled it's flagship product MoGo Mouse at the CES International Las Vegas show in January 2006. Newton Peripherals' "MoGo Mouse" and "MoGo Bluetooth® Adapter" technology was initially developed by Manifold Products. Manifold Products develops and launches innovative consumer products and medical devices that use proprietary technology to meet underserved market needs. The "Mogo Mouse" is protected under U.S. Patent No. 7,233,319 and "MoGo Bluetooth® Adapter" technology is patent pending.
Executive Team
Matthew Westover – President and Chief Executive Officer
Matt Westover joined Newton Peripherals as President and Chief Executive Officer in mid-2005, his latest executive position in a successful career spanning almost 22 years in key roles at high-technology firms. He previously served as an executive consultant to the CEO at Certance, helping lead that firm’s transition away from Seagate and into its own operation, which resulted in its acquisition by Quantum Corporation. Matt founded Storability, and served as its Chairman and CEO, prior to its acquisition by StorageTek. He has also served in executive roles at StorageNetworks, Connected Corporation, and Andataco.
Matt is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame, where he was on the school’s football team. He’s been a featured speaker at leading business schools, such as Sloan, Babson and Mendoza, as well as at numerous technology conferences.
Michael Levinger – Chief Financial Officer
Michael Levinger comes to Newton Peripherals following five years as co-founder, President and COO of Storability. He was instrumental in Storability’s growth and success, which led to its acquisition by StorageTek. Over his 28-year career, Mike has held a wide range of senior management positions in the computer industry with both early-stage and established companies including Data Resources/McGraw Hill, McCormack and Dodge, Access Technology, TeamWorks Technologies, Rosh Intelligence Systems, Bentley Company and Wang Global.
Mr. Levinger holds a bachelors degree in Computer Science from Brown University, and a master’s degree in Business from Columbia University. He is a member of the CommonAngels angel investing group and active in several Boston-area charities.
Jack Corrao – Vice President, Marketing and Business Development
Jack Corrao joined Newton Peripherals in 2005. Before he joined Newton Peripherals, Jack founded Corrao Enterprises, a consulting firm that provides accelerated go-to-market (GTM) and business development planning and execution. He was previously Vice President of Marketing at Certance, leading that firm’s product development, corporate communications, strategic partnerships and OEM and channel marketing strategy prior to its acquisition by Quantum Corporation.
Jack has held numerous Executive management positions in the data storage and computer industry over the past 27 years, including executive roles at companies such as BakBone Software, Unisys Corporation, Scientific Computer Systems, Dot Hill Systems and Nstor/Andataco.
Scott Haskins – Director, Global Sales
Scott Haskins brings deep international business development and operational performance experience to Newton as our Director of Global Sales. Prior to joining Newton, Scott was Director of the HP Global Alliance at Targus Group International. He has over 10 years of industry experience and has held business development positions and leadership roles with leading accessory OEM’s and ecommerce solution providers. Scott is a graduate of San Diego State University where he received his Bachelors in International Business.
Terry Jones– Director of Engineering
Terry joined Newton Peripherals in March of 2006 and is responsible the production engineering design of the MoGo Mouse and the follow on products.
Before working with Newton Peripherals, he has spent 27 years managing and developing electronic products for such companies as Tektronix, Intel, JBL, and IBM. Terry has been a principal engineer at several leading Industrial Design firms such as Ziba, Fitch and Design Continuum. Additionally, he has been the lead engineer in several VC funded startup including Metheus, Syte Information Technologies and Boston Medical Technologies. He has contributed to dozens of award winning product designs and currently holds over 12 US Patents.
Mr. Jones holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Washington and initiated graduate work in Engineering management at Portland State University. He serves on the board of directors of the New England Wireless and Steam Museum.
Steve Maglior– VP, Operations and Support
Steve joins Newton Peripherals with twenty years of experience in the Technology industry where he’s held executive level positions in Operations, Supply Chain and Support/Service. Prior to joining Newton Peripherals Steve was Sr. Director of Repair Operations/Service Logistics for Quantum, where he was responsible for Worldwide Repair, Service Logistics and the associated Supply Chain infrastructure. Prior to Quantum Steve has held Management positions in Operation and Supply Chain at Seagate, Certance, Conexant Systems and Western Digital.
Steve has a BS in Business Administration from University Wisconsin Stevens Point and an MBA from University California Irvine.
